Silverwood is a dream in the making for couple Rod and Adelle Sim. It all began when they got married at Errol Park stately home and estate in 2014. And with over 200 guests, their wedding was one of the first held at this truly amazing venue. With very few local rooms or hotels being available to accommodate guests, this led to many staying outside the area. As a result, costly private coaches were required to transport them to the wedding. So Rod and Adelle realised that there was an urgent need for quality accommodation in the area, where three other vibrant wedding venues were also situated. And a business idea was born with a family business they could run together. Thereafter, Silverwood lodge resort came to fruition and is what it is today.

Silverwood is set in the tranquil Perthshire countryside, just outside of the village of Errol, between Perth and Dundee. Our 20-acre site has now grown into a luxury lodge resort, with 19 lodges available for holiday rental. Here, we maintain the very highest standards of accommodation. And your comfort and relaxation are core to our business, enhanced by the stunning scenery all around.

Why not stay or host an event?

Our lodges accommodate between 2 and 6 guests each, and we recently expanded the site to include family-friendly facilities, such as a children’s play area, pitch and putt golf and woodland walks and trails. Making this an ideal holiday destination for couples or families, looking to get away from it all. In addition, have our own wedding and events venue. Hosting events for up to 200 guests, in our secluded, private grounds. With an experienced events team and in-house caterers on hand to help with every detail.
